“Untitled (red flame)” Installation

In late 2019, Logan Center Exhibitions presented the newly commissioned Untitled (red flame), an immersive sound-based installation by U.S.-born, Oslo-based multimedia artist Camille Norment that grew out of a series of workshops in which Norment engaged with South Side community members. The resulting soundscape built upon recordings of community voices, exploring the potential of breath and rhythm to generate a collective voice that engenders solidarity, agency, and resistance.
