Ghosts Everywhere I Go: The Arches Project (2020) by jazz pianist and composer Vijay Iyer in collaboration with sociologist and poet Eve Ewing based on her scholarly work, Ghosts in the Schoolyard, examining the systematic defunding of public schools in Chicago. Originally scheduled to premiere in May 2020, this commission was postponed to 2022.
