World Premiere of “The Property”

Lyric Unlimited, a newly launched initiative of Lyric Opera of Chicago, presented the world premiere of The Property, a klezmer opera presented in partnership with the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts. Commissioned by Polish composer Wlad Marhulets, The Property featureed the work of librettist Stephanie Fleischmann, director Eric Einhorn, and performances by members of Chicago’s Maxwell Street Klezmer Band.
